Applications to 12th Sync Licensing Misson to LA Now Open

14 April 2016

Music companies and individuals looking to participate in the 12th US Sync Licensing Mission hosted jointly by the BPI, the Music Publishers Association (MPA) and UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) have until Thursday 28th April to submit their applications.

Held at the iconic Capitol Tower in the heart of Hollywood, this popular industry event aimed at supporting the continuing growth of UK music exports will take place from 13th – 17th June 2016.

The five-day mission is a broad-ranging and dynamic mix of panels, site visits, practical sessions, meetings and keynote speakers, and also includes an exclusive networking Reception at the British Consul General’s residence held in honour of the delegates.

For the first time in its history a showcase component has also been added to the mission. Through Arts Council England’s International Showcasing Fund a small amount of funding is available for English-based artists and songwriters and composers: 4x £5,000 grants for artists to showcase on the Thursday evening; and 5x £1,000 grants for artists to submit a piece of music for one of the event’s pitching panels. See Notes to Editors.

Delegates interested in attending the mission should download and complete the application.

The deadline for applications is Thursday 28th April 2016. The mission costs £450 plus VAT to register.
