Our Chief Executive Talks to Billboard on Labels’ Streaming Equity and Why a Lack of Transparency Is Causing Mistrust

On February 4th during an earnings call, Warner Music Group CEO Stephen Cooper told investors that in the event that the company receives cash proceeds from selling its equity stakes in streaming services – it will share the revenue with its artists.

Just hours later Sony Music made the same pledge and we called on Universal to do the same.

FAC expands tour support to UK artists as LIVE Trust funding more than doubles

The Featured Artists Coalition (FAC) is delighted to announce a substantial increase in support from the LIVE Trust for the UK Artist Touring (UKAT) fund, with the receipt of an additional £300,000 collected from voluntary ticket contributions at large-scale music events, including shows by Harry Styles, Take That, Wolf Alice, Lorde, Kasabian, Radiohead, Jessie Ware, Basement Jaxx and Duran Duran.
