Newspaper Licensing Agency
The NLA have been attempting to license anyone who uses quotes from articles from the newspapers owned by their members. The licences are usually for news aggregators and companies that photocopy articles and quotes for internal use. However they MAY have claim over press agents etc using quotes in press releases etc.
If you have been or are in future asked to pay money to them for license fees you would do well to contact the MMF first who will advise.
