25 February 2015

The Artist and Manager Awards 2015, which will be held at the Troxy on 26th March, are very proud to present the Breakthrough Artist of the Year, sponsored by DICE.

The Breakthrough Artist of the Year is dedicated to emerging artists who have had a big impact in the industry over the past twelve months. These artists have created and delivered exceptional work as defined by their peers.

The nominations for this year’s award are determined by a select committee along with the MMF and FAC and are:

  • Catfish & The Bottlemen
  • Ella Henderson
  • FKA Twigs
  • George Ezra
  • Hozier
  • Jungle
  • Royal Blood
  • Sigma

Past winners have included Ed Sheeran, Madeon and Rudimental.

DICE, who are also the headline partner for the Artist and Manager Awards 2015, will sponsor the Breakthrough Artist Award. Phil Hutcheon, co-founder of DICE, said, “At DICE we are passionate about helping fans discover incredible new artists and getting them in to mind blowing shows. Sponsoring an award that celebrates upcoming talent that inspires and excites fits perfectly with our beliefs and we’re proud to put the DICE name to it.”

Launched in London in 2014 DICE allows fans to instantly discover and buy tickets for the best shows with No Booking Fees. DICE stand against the institutionalised secondary ticketing industry and touts that penalise fans.

Russ Tannen, Head of Music for DICE said: “The Artist and Manager Awards celebrate innovation and hard work. At DICE our mission is to use technology for the better of the music industry, to grow and inspire, and to ensure fans and artists are rewarded for their passion.”
